LevelUp Rockingham is an initiative to create a pipeline to address workforce needs by increasing students’ exposure to careers and expanding career and technical education pathways that lead to industry-recognized credentials. The initiative is driven by regional data on current and future workforce needs and on feedback from industry partners. These partners have identified advanced manufacturing, health care, and construction as the three local employment sectors that have the greatest need for collaborative solutions.
We established the Level Up initiative with grant funding to bring more awareness to the career pathways and workforce resources available to teenagers and young adults in Rockingham County.
The number of opportunities for our area’s youth is only increasing.
Level Up aims to streamline access to those opportunities, so they become an obvious first choice for everyone. When our youngest generations succeed, we all succeed. Together, let’s continue to grow Rockingham County.
